Police Commemoration Day is about expressing gratitude to our police personnel and their families all across the country. We pay tributes to all the police personnel martyred in the line of duty. Their sacrifice and service would always be remembered.

KYB Conmat’s Concrete Mixer – Creating Benchmark in construction of Nepal’s Nagdhunga-Naubise tunnel road project

Nagdhunga tunnel construction project is the first road tunnel construction project in Nepal being built with Japanese loan assistance of 16,636 billion yen. The project aims to improve the road condition around Nagdhunga pass ensuring smooth transportation network between Kathmandu and other principal areas/cities in Nepal, contributing to local socioeconomic development. The total length of the tunnel is 2.69 kms and its estimated completion date of the project is August 2022.

Hon’be Prime Minister of Nepal Shri KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone of the Nagdhunga-Naubise tunnel road project — the first of its type project in the country.

The award was received by Mr. Prashant Gurtoo, GM Manufacturing and Mr. Alok Bhinde, Manager – Corporate Communication of KYB-CONMAT Pvt. Ltd. at Vadodara on 20^th January, 2020.

The award was given by Ms. Suman Ratan Singh Rao, who was crowned Femina Miss India 2019. She represented India at the Miss World 2019 pageant in ExCeL London in United Kingdom, and was crowned as 2nd runner-up and as Miss World Asia. Also Collector of Vadodara city,  Ms. Shalini Agarwal and Mayor Dr. Jigeeshaben Jatinbhai Sheth were present to felicitate the same.

KYB Conmant, one of the leaders in the CE industry has always been in the forefront of designing and innovation. This year show was extremely successful for the company and has received unprecedented response for all the products. We also launched four new equipment’s- Self-loading Mixer which is specially designed for the canal applications and the low slum concrete. Traditionally the self-loading mixer is difficult to handle low slump concrete so anchor a shed to pavers for the best results. This is due to varied terrain conditions in India. Also, most of the self-loading mixers are designed in Italy. We have thoroughly studied the Indian market and the requirement of the concrete in India and based on those inputs we have developed this mixer, completely in-house R&D facility. There are two variants for it- 4 and 4.5 cubic meter batch.

Due to the steep angle of the bucket conveyor which is around 50^◦we can reduce the overall length by half. In this way we can save of space and also time can be saved due to the short cycle time.

We have also launched the tower plant in the 60 cubic meter capacity, the plant is developed for the vertical space reducing the horizontal footprint to 6*6 meter. In case of the conventional plant, lot of space is required. The plant causes very less pollution and also requires little amount of fuel.

KCPL Sports Meet was held on 22 Sep 2019 at Manjalpur Sports Complex to acknowledge the sportsmanship within and cherish team spirit. The event happened to be a pleasure for entire KCPL Family with overall 100 participants involved in 8 different games like Men’s 200 mts. race, Baton relay, 1 legged race, Marble and Spoon race, Women’s 100 mts. race, Sack race, 3 legged race and Tug of War.  There were spread of covid-19 and more than 250 eyes caught to enjoy the spectacular performance of players. Moreover, the event lit up when the audience participated in games with a competitive spirit and zeal to win. KCPL Sports Meet happened to be a memorable event for all.
